This acquisition preserves the expertise of Dothan Warehouse employees working in the frozen storage facility, who will join the Vertical Cold Storage team. This means that Dothan Warehouse customers can expect to still be able to take advantage of top-notch frozen storage solutions. Outside of expanding our capabilities, we hope this partnership will also allow both of our companies to grow together, bringing more customers into the Dothan, Alabama region to take advantage of our strategic location and cost savings.

Vertical Cold Storage is set to take over the facility in August of 2024, gaining access to our strategic location in Dothan, Alabama. Here, businesses are able to access international shipping routes at a lower cost when compared to warehousing in major cities. With easy highway access, Dothan Warehouse is situated near five major ports, including Jacksonville, FL, Mobile, AL, New Orleans, LA, Panama City, FL, and Savannah, GA.
For Dothan Warehouse customers, our location also allows us to provide two-day shipping to many major southern cities, including Atlanta, New Orleans, and more. Our customers can also take advantage of CSX rail. In other words, our location allows us to provide timely and efficient delivery of your products at the quality your customers expect.
